Musa one of our students with Albinism, really amazed me with his images…He would constantly photograph trees and various foliages around him. I found it so fascinating that he would still see these overseen forms of life, It was fascinating to see him affirming it’s existence and rediscovering it’s intricate form and beauty with his camera. Isn’t this what photography suppose to do? to extend and redefine our perspective and vision of the world? to remind us of someone and something’s existence...punctuating it through out our existing and progressing time. I always thought when something becomes too present in your life, it inevitably becomes invisible to your eyes…Musa living in an island full of trees all around him, and not been as exposed to our polluted world of visuals, and especially in a place where photography is mostly served as a function to capture important memories of friends and family. It was for me personally so refreshing to see someone recognizing these beautiful and intricate forms, and still be astounded enough to photograph them. . Photos By Musa . @standingvoiceuk
